IISER Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research Admission 2019
Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER) will conduct IISER 2019 admission for 5-year BS-MS degree programmes at its seven participating institutes. IISER admission 2019 will be conducted through three channels- KVPY, SCB and JEE. The IISER 2019 admission process is expected to start from the fourth week of May. An aptitude test will be conducted for the candidates opting for SCB channel while the candidates seeking admission through other two channels will be eligible to take direct admission. Candidates are allowed to apply for all the three channels but they must fulfil the eligibility criteria of each channel they are applying. Candidates have to submit the application form of IISER before the prescribed deadline. Admission to IISER 2019 will be through three channels:
- Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) – Candidates will be offered admission on the basis of valid KVPY fellowship.
- State and Central Boards Channel (SCB) channel – Candidates opting for this channel will have to appear in an aptitude test, the details of which are given below.
- Joint Entrance Examination of Indian Institutes of Technology (JEE) channel – Candidates with valid JEE Advanced 2019 scores are eligible for direct admission.

IISER Eligibility Criteria 2019
The eligibility criteria for IISER 2019 will be for the different channels through which admission is sought. Candidates can check the IISER 2019 eligibility criteria given below.
JEE Channel: Candidates should have scored an All India Rank (AIR) within the rank which will be prescribed by the authorities according to their category.
SCB Channel: Students seeking admission under this channel must meet the minimum cutoff percentage prescribed by IISER for their respective state boards. Additionally, candidates will have to appear in the IISER Aptitude Test to be considered for admission.
KYPY Channel: Under this category, candidates need to have a valid KYPY fellowship commencing 2019-20. In addition, candidates will have to meet the cutoff criteria that may be applicable.
Nationality: Indian nationals are eligible to apply for IISER admission 2019. PIO and OCI category candidates can also apply, but like their Indian counterparts they must also meet apply through any of the three available channels and satisfy applicable eligibility criteria.
IISER Admission Application Form 2019
IISER 2019 application form is expected to be available in the last week of May. The candidates will be allowed to apply for all the three channels but the separate application form has to be filled along with the fee payment for each channel. Meeting the eligibility criteria for each applied channel is mandatory.
Filling the application form of IISER Admission 2019
The candidates will have to register using a valid email id and entering the required details. After the successful registration candidates will have to login and filled the entire application form. Candidates opting for the SCB channel will have to enter the marks scored in the aptitude test. Candidates will have to upload the required documents in the prescribed format. The prescribed application fee has to be paid in online mode.

IISER Admit Card 2019 – For candidates opting for SCB Channel
The Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research will release the IISER 2019 admit card in the online mode most probably in June. The candidate will have to enter their email id and password to download the admit card of IISER 2019. The IISER admit card 2019 will have the details mentioned on it like the name of the candidate, roll number, allotted exam centre, time and date of the exam, and also exam instructions. Before downloading the IISER 2019 admit card, the candidates are advised to check whether the information displayed is correct.

IISER Answer Key 2019
The answer key of IISER Aptitude Test 2019 will be released by the official authorities. Using the IISER 2019 answer key, candidates will be able to calculate correctly their expected score in the aptitude test, which for the record will be conducted only for SCB candidates. IISER Result 2019
The result of the aptitude test will be announced in online mode for the candidates who will appear in the aptitude test. Candidates will have to go to the result page and check their result. The result page will display the role numbers of candidates who have been offered seats. Candidates will have to download the offer letter by logging in using the credentials. Candidates opting for KVPY channel will also have to follow the same procedure to check and download their offer letter.
IISER Counselling 2019
The counselling of IISER 2019 will be conducted for the candidates who will be shortlisted in their respective channels. Separate counselling will be conducted for each of the three modes of admission and there will be separate seat allotment lists as well. The allotment of seats will be based on factors like the number of seats available, rank of the candidate in the merit list, and choice filling.
IISER 2019 Participating Institutes
The participating institutes of IISER 2019 are the institutes where successful candidates will be offered seats. There are seven IISER participating institutes. There are a total of 7 participating institutes which provide admission to approximately 1125 seats. IISER 2019 participating institutes will offer admission through three channels – Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY), JEE Advanced 2019, and State and Central Board (SCB). It is advisable to the candidates to choose their participating institute wisely as based on it they will be allocated seats during IISER 2019 counselling process.
